The Benefits of Balanced Diet
THE BENEFITS OF BALANCED DIET
Balanced diet is very important in our lives
as a human who want to have a healthy life’s. Noble., (2000) said, healthy food
is a food that have a sufficient nutrient for our physical and mental
development. The food that we eat since our childhood might affect our health
in the future. We have been taught since we were kid the way of balanced diet
intake. If we do not take care about balanced diet, it will affect our health.
So, in this situation I totally agree with the statement about a balanced diet affects
our health and wellbeing. There are lots of benefits that we got when we are
practicing a balanced diet in our life.
Firstly, the benefits that we can
got from practicing a balanced diet is it help people to reduce the risk of the
getting disease. Person who practices a healthy food in their lifestyle is such
a healthy person. This type of person will be referring to food pyramid and eat
the food in an enough scale. For example, a person who loves to eat plant foods
more than others (meat and chicken), it can satisfy their hunger. This also can
make a person easier to stay in their healthy weight and obesity can be
prevented. Besides, proper developing cardiovascular disease and help to lower
chance to get a cancer, we can have a plenty of food such as fruit and
vegetables in our diet (Megan Ray., 2015). This shows us that, by having a
balanced diet, a person can always in a good life and hard to get a disease.
Other than that, balanced diet also gives
us a benefit for our mental health. This is because, when we are practicing
having a balanced diet, we can have such a beautiful physical conditions and
intelligent brain state. Neimary et al., (2012) said that ridicule and bullying
will cause a person to suffer from depression because of their weight. This
statement said that someone who are overweight will easily having a mental
health issue. So, we need to prevent this happen to us. Furthermore, fruit such
as tomatoes and avocado can protect our brain cell. We as students must eat a lot
of fruits because it can help us to reduce our stress level. For example,
citrus fruit. If you are having a hard time because you are so stress, you can
have an oranges and grapefruits. Having orange in afternoon can help you to
calming yourself from stress. At last, by having a balanced diet, we can also take
care of our mental health and making sure that our brain always in a good
condition.
Lastly, being able to control
obesity also the benefits of balanced diet. As we can see, the amount of
obesity children and adolescent aged five to 19 years old increased more than
four – fold which is four percent to 18 percent globally between in 1975 to
2019 (World Health Organization ,n.d). So, to control these issues, we must practice
a balanced diet. To control obesity, we need a healthy food such as fruit and
vegetables. We all know that not all fruits and vegetables are tasty, but we
need to eat these two foods for making sure that we are having a balanced diet
and it can prevent us for having an obesity. Eat fruit and vegetables in an
enough scale so we do not overtake those food. In short, a balanced diet helps us
to prevent from getting an obesity and we can live our life happily by
practicing a balanced diet.
In conclusions, as a person who really care about their health, we must be alert on what we eat every day. This is because, it might be dangerous if we do not take care about what we eat. Besides, we should be preparing our own eating schedule. The schedule can help us to be ready and preparing our food very well. In short, it can help us to having a healthy lifestyle.
